Category: Process Analyzers
Michell Instruments offers a wide range of process analyzers. They can be designed to your specification and can comprise anything from a base hydrocarbon or moisture measurement unit through to a combined hydrocarbon and moisture analyzer. Offered complete with custom designed sample system, they can be built into housings/cabinets certified for use in hazardous environments through CSA and ATEX. This range is developed around Michell’s hydrocarbon dew point technology, that utilizes the patented Dark Spot Principle, a technique radically different from that of any other chilled mirror system.
Condumax II
Condumax II is a fully self-contained hydrocarbon dew-point analyzer that uses the proven "Dark Spot" hydrocarbon dew-point measurement principle from the highly successful Condumax instrument as its foundation. Combining a hydrocarbon dew-point cell and water dew-point measurement in the same compact and lightweight enclosure which has been certified by CSA for use in hazardous locations, Condumax II requires nothing more than AC power to operate. Liquidew EExd
Liquidew EExd is a purpose designed, certified explosion-proof solution to on-line continuous moisture measurement for petrochemical liquid applications. Liquidew EExd is installed directly in the hazardous area, simplifying site installation and retrofits. Moisture content is determined in part per million by weight (ppmW) through Henry’s Law from the measured water dew-point temperature and liquid temperature. The instrument uses an extensive list of saturation concentration data pre-programmed for a variety of petrochemical liquids, with provision for easy entry of ‘custom’ characteristics data by the user.
