DEHN devices are rated for 600 Volt class applications and are respectively rated for Protection Categories (per ANSI C62.41-1991) C, B, or A., are compliant with UL 1449 2nd edition and components have been tested and approved to conform to international standards as stated, and as indicated also bear UL and CE designations. The DEHNguard® is a modular DIN rail mounted TVSS built in a red thermoplastic housing, based on Zinc Oxide Varistor technology, providing high speed and high energy capacity. These devices are designed for all 600 V voltage classes, are UL Recognized (as well as having other international Standards compliance), and have features to include: an internal thermal disconnect, pluggable MOV replacement, built in status indication, type C contacts for remote status indication, wire or bus bar connection capability, maximum discharge current of 40 kA see specification sheets for detail.. The Blitzductor® is a modular DIN rail TVSS for series insertion into low energy measurement and control circuits (typically twisted pair with or without a ground shield), so as to protect the components, controllers, PLC™s, and measuring instruments at either end of the circuit, against high energy transients. The Blitzductor® has a pluggable module which contains the TVSS circuitry, permitting the removal of this module to be accomplished without the use of tools or without interruption of the circuit due to a pair of bypass contacts. Provides surge protection of all pairs with heavy duty gas discharge tubes and a low capacitance diode matrix per pair. Fully shielded universal surge arrester ideal for use in ethernet, Gigabit ethernet, ATM, ISDN, Voice over IP and even Power over IP applications. Can be din rail mounted (see mounting set for 19" rack applications) or wall mounted with included supporting foot.
The DEHNpipe is a TVSS built within a stainless steel threaded pipe. It is intended to be mounted in exposed outdoor environments and is attached by screwing the threaded end into the housing of the instrument it is protecting. Its primary application is for 24 V, 4-20 or 0-20 mA loop circuits.
