Michell Oxygen Analyzers use a selection of recent technologies each suited to a different set of applications. The analyzers of the XZR-400 and XZR-500 series are based on the unique MSRS Zirconium Oxide technology for accurate and repeatable oxygen concentration measurement. The XZR-400 is designed for detecting oxygen in clean gases while the XZR-500 is designed for flue gas analysis. Due to their patented metallic sealed reference Zirconium Oxide Sensor, there is no need for reference air making the installation of both ranges simple and cost effective.
The XTP range uses an innovative thermo-paramagnetic oxygen detection system for best accuracy, reliability and ruggedness in industrial applications. It is available in hazardous area or general purpose configurations and is suitable for measurement of concentrations from ppm to almost 100% oxygen.
Michell offers a wide range of sensors capable of measuring moisture, humidity and dew point in a wide range of applications and industries. Michell’s sensors are developed using advanced ceramic moisture sensor technology. The principle of operation is quite simple. Operation of the sensor depends upon the absorption of water vapor into a porous non-conducting space between two layers built on top of a base ceramic substrate. The result of this means that the sensor responds very rapidly to change in applied moisture, both when being dried and when called into action if there is moisture ingress into a process.
